Regalito was closed for a private party on Thursday, June 10^th, 2010 to host the opening reception for the Queer Women of Color Film Festival. It was an honor to host such a wonderful and creative group of people.

The film festival was put on by the Queer Women of Color Media Arts Projects. The event took place from June 10^th- June 13^th at the Brava Theater. You can find out more about the event here.

The reception at Regalito was highlighted by the participation of a guest chef, Dominique Garcia, from Lookout.

Examiner author, Marques Daniels, attended the event and wrote an excellent follow up piece that can be read here.

We served Al Pastor Tacos with a Pineapple salsa.
