We’ve put together a custom menu of items, combinations and entire meals that travel well and are delicious for one or the whole family. As part of our February focus on takeout we wanted to highlight a few of our favorites that are great on the go:

Enchilades Verdes ~ Corn Tortillas dipped in green sauce, stuffed with Rocky Junior free range chicken and garnished with queso fresco, crema, onions and cilantro.

Carnitas ~ Niman Ranch pork shoulder, avocado, and salsa–served with whole pintos and our homemade tortillas.

Pollo Libre ~ A family meal for four ~ A whole roast, Rocky Junior free range chicken with rice, beans, salsa and our homemade tortillas.

Pollo de Rosticeria ~ Whole roast, Rocky Junior free range chicken from the rosticeria. Quartered and served to go.

Yes, you heard it correctly. The highlight of January’s Specials were our Pigs Feet Tacos (Patas de Puerco). Served with minced onions, cilantro and smothered in our homemade green sauce, one customer described them as “beautiful.” January’s specials also included Pollo Frito ~ Your Mexican Mamas Fried Chicken, Albondigas ~ Mexican Meatball Soup and Breakfast Tortas de Juevos y Chorizo.

In February, you can expect more of these same favorites along with some new twists. Here’s a quick preview of what else you can look for:

Pozole ~ Pork & Hominy Stew with Homemade Tortillas

Perros Calientes ~ Mexican Style Niman Ranch Hot Dogs wrapped in bacon and onions with homemade mayo and pickled peppers

Tortas ~ Breakfast Tortas de Juevos y Chorizo

We’ll continue to post the daily specials on the web. So make sure to check our website daily or follow us on Twitter.

We’ll see you again next month, so stay tuned for your monthly Regalito!
