Regalito will be donating 50% of the nights revenue to local non-profit, Josie’s Place, to help them sustain the work they’re doing. Please join us to show your support for this local cause by making a reservation here.

Josie’s Place for Bereaved Youth and Families is a grassroots nonprofit organization that offers peer-support groups to children and teens in the San Francisco Bay Area who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, close relative or friend. The caring volunteer facilitators help group members explore and express their grief through discussion, creative expression and play.

Guest Chef Gil Hovav joins us April 22nd

by Cazador on April 1, 2010

We’re excited to host Gil Hovav, on April 22nd, in participation with the Out in Israel Event taking place throughout the city to highlight LGBT Pride Week in Israel. Gil Hovav is one of Israel’s leading Culinary Journalists, food critics and television personalities and also the author of three best selling novels. Through his illustrious career, Gil has played a major role in the revival of Israeli cuisine and, more recently, the evolution of cooking in Israel from a country of basic traditional food into a “gourmet nation”.

To celebrate the Out in Israel LGBT Pride Week we’ll be serving a four course fixed price menu comprised of a traditional Shakshouka Omlette with peppers and Merquez Sausage, by Gil Hovav, matched with Guacamole, Tortillas Soup & Churros by Regalitos own Thomas Pena.

The cost will be $40 per person (Wine & Agave Margaritas available separately). There will also be a $25 option served sans starters & desert. The night will be broken into two seating time periods at 6pm (6:00, 6:15, 6:30) and 8pm (8:00, 8:15, 8:30). Each seating will be addressed by Gil Hovav.

Please make reservations ahead of time by clicking this link. We’ll also be taking reservations by phone for our counter seating. Please call (415) 503-0650.
